Our Valley, home, is a most unique place in the world

"Familiarity breeds contempt" is an old saying freighted in truth. How one feels about home is a complicated thing, I suppose. I've lived here in the Valley for most of my life and quite often the Valley doesn't get respect from the people who live here; or the people who don't ever want to live here.
