Ceres residents Karen Bucio, Keith Baltz and Dave Livingston will perform with the Central Valley Brass on Saturday, March 24 at the Gottschalk Music Center's recital hall, 1502 E Street, Modesto. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. with the concert at 3 p.m.

Tickets are $8 per adult and $5 for students and seniors. Seating is limited.

The Central Valley Brass, formed in 1981 by the late longtime Ceres resident Ernie Bucio, is a quintet comprised of his widow, Karen Bucio who plays the horn; trumpet players Robert Stone and David Livingston; tuba player Keith Baltz of Ceres; and trombonist Byron Yerzy.

In addition to playing trumpet, Stone is also a composer and the centerpiece of this concert is one of his compositions, titled, "Childhood Impressions." It includes three movements: Toy Soldier's March, The Ballerina's Waltz and The Juggler's Act.

The concert will end with an arrangement honoring veterans.
