An Officer Appreciation Night is being planned at St. Anthony's Catholic Church Social Hall, 7820 Fox Road, Hughson on Saturday, May 20 starting at 5:30 p.m.

The First Baptist Church is sponsoring the event, designed to honor all officers retired or active within the county.

Guest speaker will be Assemblyman Heath Flora and our Master of Ceremonies is Sheriff Adam Christianson. The night will be filled with awards, special recognition and much more.

A prime and chicken dinner with all the trimmings will be served, catered by The Branding Iron. Tickets are $45 each, with proceeds going to the Shriners hospital in Sacramento. Boy Scouts and 4-H members from various local clubs will also be assisting at the dinner. There will be drawings and a silent auction throughout the evening.

Only 325 tickets available, time is short so get your reservations now; contact Jim Dean at 883-7088 or Kathy Wungluck at 883-1819.
