Work on 99 will affect local traffic

Caltrans will perform various road construction activities on Highway 99 from Carpenter Road/Briggsmore Avenue in Modesto to Hatch Road in Ceres.

Work will occur as follows:

• Full on and off-ramp closures on southbound SR-99 at Carpenter Road/Briggsmore Avenue beginning Sunday, Oct. 22, through Friday, Oct. 27, from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. for highway construction.

• Full on-ramp closure from Crows Landing Road to northbound SR-99 beginning Sunday, October 22, 2017, through Friday, Oct. 27, from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. for sign work.

• Full off-ramp closure from southbound Highway 99 to Crows Landing Road beginning Sunday, Oct. 22 through Friday, Oct. 27, from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. for sign work.

• Full off-ramp closure from southbound Highway 99 to Hatch Road beginning Sunday, Oct. 22 through Friday, Oct. 27 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. for sign work.

Motorists should expect five-minute delays so alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials and construction related issues.
