President Joseph Estrada talked about the importance of staying hydrated at the Fourth Annual Ceres Jr. Bulldogs Football & Cheer Skills Camp, held July 21-23, at Smyrna Park.

"Safety is the No. 1 key in any sport," he said.

More than 170 boys and girls, aged 6-14, attended the free clinic. Albert Garcia (13), Ty'zhaun Johnson (13), Manuel Mendoza (9) and Adrian Herrera (8) were among the participants.

Each session lasted two hours (6-8 p.m.).

Football players executed warmup drills prior to cycling through different stations.

Cheerleaders perfected new cheers.

Coaches offered frequent water breaks at cool-down stations during the three-day camp because of the weather.

"It's going to be hot," Estrada stated to Jr. Bulldog players. "Make sure you stay hydrated."
