A man was arrested Thursday evening, June 11, for allegedly stabbing his brother with a sword after he stumbled upon him smoking meth with his girlfriend.
The incident occurred at a small mobile home park at 3305 Central Avenue at 7:20 p.m.
After the stabbing, police were called and when they arrived they found a 41-year-old stabbing victim with a wound to his right shoulder. Officers learned that Mark Rimi, 28, of Ceres, had interrupted his girlfriend with the brother smoking meth. Rimi became angry and grabbed the meth pipe and broke it. A confrontation ensued with the brothers arguing. Mark allegedly picked up a sword and jabbed his brother.
Rimi was arrested on the charge of assault with a deadly weapon while his brother was treated.
