Ceres man arrested for stalking women in Modesto

Modesto Police arrested Enrique Camacho, 41, of Ceres, on a charge of attempted kidnapping of one woman. The department believes there might be other victims.

A 41-year-old Ceres man was arrested by Modesto Police on Dec. 1 on suspicion of following female employees as they walked to and from their workplaces from Sept. 1 through Nov. 20

Enrique Camacho, 41, of Ceres, faces a charge of attempted kidnapping of one woman, the Modesto Police Department said. The department believes there might be other victims.

According to police, Camacho would allegedly loiter around stores including Target, Burlington Coat Factory and Safeway on McHenry Avenue, as well as parking lots. He was most frequently spotted around closing time.

It’s believed that Camacho drove a red pickup truck involved in the incidents.
