Loiterer arrested on felony warrant

A 31-year-old transient who was loitering in front of a Hatch Road dental office was found to be wanted for a felony arrest warrant and taken into custody on Friday afternoon.

At 12:09 p.m., Officer Matthew Myers approached Jeremiah Sumpter in front of Western Dental at 1720 Hatch Road. A records check through dispatchers revealed that Sumpter had an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest and was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
