A 28-year-old Modesto man seen walking around a church parking lot in Ceres holding his penis was arrested Tuesday morning, July 23.

Ceres Police Officer Nicolas Welsh was sent to the parking lot of the Ceres Seventh Day Adventist Church on Central Avenue at 9:20 a.m. to check out reports of a naked male in the parking lot. Welsh located a nude Raman Kumar, 28, of Modesto, walking around the parking lot and grabbing his genitals. Officer Welsh made his presence known and Kumar responded by thrusting his hips in Officer Welsh’s direction.

The officer convinced Kumar to walk over to his clothing piled on the ground and get dressed. Kumar was then placed under arrest for incident exposure.
