A 51-year-old Modesto man who has been arrested numerous times and banned from Home Depot stores was back in custody on Tuesday, March 19 back to his old ways.

Loss prevention officers at the Hatch Road Home Depot store called police at 10:23 p.m. saying they were detaining shoplift suspect Blane Mapp. The store had given a trespass warning to Mapp after each of his arrests for theft.  They recognized Mapp when he entered the store and was seen concealing items and attempt to leave the store without buying them.

Mapp told Officer Kao Saechao that he had was stealing items to support his drug habit. Mapp was arrested for shoplifting and trespassing.
