A memorial service was held Friday morning at Wesley United Methodist Church in Modesto for Thelma Justene Odell-Edwards, 92, of Hughson. She died Saturday, April 23, 2005 at Samaritan Village in Hughson.
Lakewood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Born July 25, 1912, Mrs. Odell-Edwards was a native and lifelong resident of Hughson. She worked in retail for 20 years. Mrs. Odell-Edwards enjoyed crafts, knitting, needlepoint, embroidery, reading, gambling and travel.
She leaves behind two children, Terry Odell of Escalon and Kenneth Odell of Modesto; two brothers, Oscar Western and William Western; and six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
