Editor, Ceres Courier,

On behalf of the Ceres Chamber of Commerce, I would like to thank everyone who came out to support the “One Table, One Community” event on Saturday evening in downtown Ceres.

This was such a spectacular evening that included a wine stroll featuring varietals from our two local wineries, Berryhill Winery and Bronco Wine Company. The night also featured delectable tastings from our local restaurants including Alfonso’s Mexican Grill, Family Pizza, Fired Up Grill, Hardy Appetitez On-Site Catering, La Cascada Mexican Restaurant, La Perla Tapatia, Mountain Mike’s Pizza, Pastas Pronto and Save Mart Supermarket. Thanks to all of these local businesses for helping bring this event to fruition.

In all, over 150 attendees enjoyed dinner and conversation down the center of Fourth Street to celebrate our newly revitalized downtown and 100 years of Ceres as a community.

In addition to those sponsors listed above, we would also like to thank the following sponsors: Ceres Drug Store, Ceres Masonic Lodge, Embroidery Plus, EXIT Realty Consultants, Farmers Insurance/ Natalie Mercado, Flawless Hair Salon, Lynette Poquette/C. Valley Photography, Meyer CPR & First Aid, The Rusty Nail, Sunbelt Rentals, We Are the Artist Photography Studio and Wells Fargo Bank.

A huge thank you to Sharky and Mellas Creative Design for the set-up and decor. The work that Shella and Mark Joiner always put forth is amazing and always appreciated.

To those of our downtown businesses that stayed open late to host our wine stroll, we hope you thoroughly enjoyed the evening and can’t thank you enough for being part of this great event.

And finally, to the countless volunteers (who I will not mention by name in fear of leaving someone out) who put time in to help set-up, tear-down, clean-up, pour, sell tickets and so much more - a huge “thank you.” We couldn’t have done this event without your help.

It’s always nice to sit down to enjoy a meal and conversation together with family and friends. Again, thanks to all for your support of the Ceres Chamber of Commerce.
