Editor, Ceres Courier,

As president of the Central Valley High School Athletic Boosters, I would like to thank all of our supporters that helped us make our Annual Fundraiser Dinner a huge success.

Specifically, I would like to thank Food-4-Less/Rancho San Miguel Markets in Ceres for their generous contributions for the food served at our dinner. I would also like to thank D.O.T. Foods, Ceres Lions Club, Embroidery Plus, Michelle and Carlos Munoz, and Jessica Smith. Also, a big thank you to Sandra Van Der Woude for assembling our amazing kitchen staff that guided us through a flawless dinner service.

The purpose of our organization is to enhance the high school experience for our student-athletes at Central Valley High School. Each year our fundraiser dinner provides much needed financial support to our athletic program and teams. This was our 4th annual dinner and each year the support and contributions from the community have increased. We are very proud to be a part of the Ceres Community and we are thankful to have received so much support.

With the fundraising efforts from our dinner on Saturday, March 12, we were able to provide the start-up uniforms and equipment for our inaugural season of boys volleyball, quality infield dirt for our softball and baseball fields, and 2 brand new soccer goals. Addition funds were also distributed to the individual sports for their specific program needs.

The CV Boosters Club is still a developing group due to our very short tradition at Central Valley. However, each year we continue to grow and develop. Our ultimate goal is to provide quality equipment and any financial support needed to maintain a successful all-around Athletics program.

Thank you very much to everyone that enjoyed the evening with us. We truly appreciate all that you have done for our student-athletes. We can't wait to see you next year. Save the date for Saturday, March 18, 2017.

Georgia Jackson,
President,
Central Valley High
Athletic Boosters
