One of the contestants on today's "The Price is Right" TV show may look familiar. Ceres resident Michael Johnson said he was "estatic" when for his seventh time in the show's audience he was selected to come down to contestant's row and then onto the stage.

Johnson was in the May 23 show audience to help celebrate the birthday of fiance Carmen Dorado of Baypoint.

"I was feeling good because it was her birthday," said Johnson, who added he was "surprised and very shocked" when his name was called.

The show airs today at 10 a.m. on Sacramento TV station KOVR (Channel 13).

The 11-year Ceres resident won $10,000 worth of prizes, including a slate pool table, a flat screen TV and a universal gym.

Johnson feels he made a connection with the show's producer who interviewed him to test his worthiness as an enthusiastic candidate. The producer remembered that Johnson had made up T shirts in memory of the late game show announcer Rod Roddy.

While on the show Johnson said he had an "out of body experience," saying that show host Drew Carey handed him $500 cash for guessing the exact price of prizes once he came off of contestant's row onto the stage but has no memory of it.

Being such a devoted fan of the show, Johnson knew that May 23 was Carey's birthday and likes bow ties. So Johnson presented Carey with a tie as a birthday gift prior to coming on stage.

"I watch the show faithfully. I've been watching the show for years."

Johnson is the third Ceres resident to be a contestant on the show in less than eight months. Patricia Butler won a Dodge Nitro in October and Sandra England won a Kenmore gas barbecue on Jan. 9.
