Celestina Bejaran, 26 of Modesto, was arrested on drunken driving charges during a Sunday evening traffic stop in the area of Mitchell and Fowler roads.

Ceres Police Officer Angel Murillo was on patrol at approximately 8:14 p.m. when he spotted across a car being driven without operating rear taillights. He pulled over Bejaran and suspected her to be drunk so he conducted a DUI investigation. After making her go through tests for sobriety, Officer Murillo believed that Bejaran was impaired.

Bejaran was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
