911 hang-up leads to drug arrest

Raquel Quinonez, 34, of Ceres, was arrested for drug possession after she said she accidentally called 911 during a fight with her boyfriend at the Howard Johnson Inn at 1672 Herndon Ave.

Police went to the motel at 12:22 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18 to investigate a 911 hang-up. Quinonez told police that she was in an argument with her boyfriend and accidentally called the emergency dispatch number. When her name was run it was learned that she had a no-bail warrant for drug possession. On the way to jail she told the officer that she had methamphetamine in her bra. It was retrieved by a female officer.

Quinonez was booked for drug possession and the warrant.
