Victor Ray Nazar, 35, of Modesto, was spotted Saturday morning by a Ceres Police officer who recognized him through prior contacts and knew him to have an outstanding no-bail felony warrant.

The arrest came at approximately 12:04 a.m. when Ceres Police Officer Christian Diaz was providing extra patrol in the 1500 block of Hatch Road.

Nazar was arrested on the outstanding warrant and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.

Nazar has an extensive criminal history including theft, arson and vagrancy.
