Ceres Police arrested a Modesto man riding a bicycle in the 1600 block of Hatch Road early Monday due to his five arrest warrants.

At 12:29 a.m., Officer Eric Souza was stopped Daniel Carson for commit a code violation on his bicycle. When it was learned that Carson had five arrest warrants he was arrested. One of the felony warrants was for possession of a controlled substance inside a jail facility.

Carson was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
