A Monday evening, April 13 traffic stop made on a bicycle rider resulted in an arrest of Lloyd Costa, 26, on drug charges.

Costa was peddling around in the area of Second Street and El Camino Avenue at 10:29 p.m. when an officer stopped him. The officer found a knife along with a keychain knife sheath that contained methamphetamine with a digital scale, money and zig zags.

Costa was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and a warrant for his arrest for prior drug offenses.
