Methamphetamine was found on a bicycle rider who was stopped late Saturday in the area of Evans Road and Central Avenue.

An officer spotted Robert Alvarez, 52, of Ceres, at 9:45 p.m. and conducted a bike stop. Alvarez was searched and found with methamphetamine. He was arrested and charged with probation violation and possession of a controlled substance.
