A traffic stop yielded evidence of illegal drug use in the car of Jason Casey, 25, of Delhi. He was arrested, however, for an outstanding felony warrant issued by Turlock Police Department for possession of brass knuckles.

Officer Keith Kitcher pulled over Casey at 2:20 p.m. on Thursday at 1501 Mitchell Road. He called for Officer Kiashira Ruiz to bring by canine partner Vegas to sniff the car for drugs when the dog found a glass jar continuing marijuana residual stored under the seat.
