A 26-year-old man was arrested for possession of a dangerous weapon early Wednesday, Jan. 5 in the 2600 block of Casa Verde Drive.

At approximately 1:05 a.m., Officer Jon Blount was dispatched to look for a man knocking on the front doors of homes while holding a wooden baseball bat. Officer Blount located Lucas Lee as he matched the suspect’s description and was carrying a bat. Lee was detained and also found to be carrying “brass” knuckles, considered a dangerous weapon.

He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of possession of metal knuckles.
