Two Ceres men were arrested Tuesday evening, May 13, after they refused to break up a fight in the front yard in the 2300 block of Whitmore Avenue.

Officer Castro was driving down the street at 6:23 p.m. when he spotted two brothers who were engaged in a physical fight after reportedly not able to get along together. Castro pulled over, put out of his car and ordered that the two let go of one another but they refused to listen. He arrested Joshua Harper, 27, of Ceres, for causing a disturbance and violating the terms of his parole. Darrell Durham, 34, of Ceres, was arrested for fighting in public and violation of probation.
