Lorenzo Sanchez
Lorenzo Sanchez was arrested and booked for possession of burglary tools.

Two teenagers were arrested Wednesday morning, Sept. 25 when they were found in a back yard in the 1400 block of Hackett Road, one wanted on felony warrants and the other armed with a knife and carrying burglary tools.

A call to 911 was made at 6:11 a.m. after a juvenile was spotted jumping over a fence into a backyard. Officers found the minor hiding in a tree and arrested him.

A second suspect, Lorenzo Sanchez, 18, of Modesto, was located in the backyard by Officer Adam Hall who noticed a large fixed blade knife on the ground between Sanchez’s feet. Sanchez was found with several shaved keys and pieces of broken porcelain from a spark plug, items commonly used to break into and steal vehicles.

Sanchez was arrested and booked for possession of burglary tools.
