A Monday, April 21 call made to police about a man sitting in a shopping cart and yelling at passersby at Don Pedro Avenue and Hardy Court resulted in the arrest of a man for drug possession and violation of probation.

Police responded and found transient Michael Ledbetter, 44, pushing the cart in the2100 block of Hardy Court. He was searched at 11:02 a.m. and found with a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine that he claimed was not his.

Ledbetter was booked.
