A 911 call about possible vehicle tampering at Five Star Auto Sales in the 1300 block of Mitchell Road led police to find a suspect with illegal drugs.

Officers scoured the area around the car lot after the 9:51 p.m. call on Wednesday, April 29 and didn't find a suspect but did run into Sergio Cruz, 47, of Keyes. Cruz didn't seem to be the man seen on the lot but police discovered he had a small baggie containing methamphetamine and a meth pipe. Cruz was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.
