Anthony Leon, 20, an unlicensed driver from Modesto, was arrested Thursday morning, Jan. 23 after he was pulled over for speeding and found with cocaine.

At 10:56 a.m., Officer Freddie Ortiz was working traffic enforcement on Whitmore Avenue near Rose Avenue when he saw Leon pass another car at 53 mph in the 35 mph zone.

Leon was found to be an unlicensed driver and in the process of taking inventory of the contents to have the car towed found a bindle made of a one-dollar bill on the driver side front floorboard.  Upon closer inspection, Officer Ortiz saw the bindle contained cocaine.

Leon was arrested for possession of cocaine.
