Roger Brogdon, 58, of Ceres was arrested early Thursday after an officer discovered that he was driving around on a suspended license and had altered the vehicle registration tags on his license plate.

At 12:15 a.m., Officer Adam Hall noticed a vehicle traveling southbound on Mitchell Road from Whitmore Avenue with an expired license plate tag from 2019. Officer Hall ran the plate number and discovered that the registration had expired in 2017. Brogdon admitted that the tab came off of a motor home belonging to a friend and placed it on his vehicle license plate about a month and a half ago.

He was arrested for altering vehicle registration and driving on a suspended license.
