Jerry Barton, 42, of Ceres, was arrested Saturday evening on three arrest warrants after he was spotted and recognized by a Ceres Police officer.

At 11:11 p.m., Officer Eric Souza was in the 400 block of River Road when he recognized Barton’s blue Ford F-150 pickup parked along the road. Souza made contact with Barton and made the arrest. His three warrants were to face charges of felony vandalism, being a felon in possession of ammunition and stalking.

Barton was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
