A 37-year-old Modesto man was taken into custody on Wednesday afternoon, August 6, after Ceres Police Officer Charles Lord-Huff spotted him and knew about his warrant to stand charges of drug possession.

At approximately 12:34 p.m., the officer was in the area of Latimer Avenue and Ninth Street when he spotted Martin Cantwell with whom he was familiar about his warrant. Officer Lord-Huff arrested Cantwell and booked him into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
