An 18-year-old man from Ceres was arrested Tuesday evening, May 20 when he was pulled over by an officer who learned that he was wanted on a felony arrest warrant for possession of stolen property.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., Ceres Police Officer Alfredo Berriatua was patrolling the area of Moffett and Service roads when he stopped Hadi Leon, 18, of Ceres for vehicle code violations in a Chrysler 300. Dispatchers relayed to the officer that Leon was wanted for the warrant and he was promptly arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
