A 30-year-old Ceres woman will face charges in Stanislaus County Superior Court that she was driving her GMC SUV while under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
At approximately 1:53 p.m. on Saturday, Ceres Police officers were dispatched to the area of Mitchell and Fowler roads for a report of a white GMC SUV with front-end bumper damage whose driver was acting erratically. A witness saw driver Brianna Gutierrez swerving in the roadway and throwing shot glasses out of the vehicle window while driving.
Officers located Gutierrez and her SUV traveling on Whitmore Avenue from Moffett Road and watched her blow through multiple stop signs while continuing to swerve. Gutierrez was pulled over and found to be very intoxicated, arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
