A 23-year-old Ceres woman was arrested and jailed on Christmas evening after she allegedly drove while intoxicated into a fence.
At 7:43 p.m., Ceres Police Officer Greg Houser responded to the report of a crash involving a Honda Accord into a fence at the intersection of Hatch Road and Central Avenue. He made contact with the driver, Anjolina Torres Quinones, 23, of Ceres and suspected she was under the influence of alcohol. As a result of a DUI investigation, Quinones was arrested for DUI with breath samples showing her to be three times over the legal limit of alcohol to drive. She was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
