A 35-year-old Ceres woman known to police as being wanted to stand charges for felony evading officers in a vehicle and resisting arrest was spotted by an officer Tuesday morning, June 3 and arrested.

Ceres Police Officer Tyler Wilson was patrolling the area of Whitmore Avenue and Mitchell Road at approximately 11:51 a.m. when he saw Jessica Niblett, 35, sitting inside a silver-colored Infiniti sedan at the Golden Valley Health Center. Familiar with Niblett and her warrants, Officer Wilson made the arrest and booked her into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
