A couple was cited Wednesday, Aug. 13 after they allegedly assaulted the manager who confronted them about sharing food from the lunch buffet without paying.

The female manager of Round Table on Mitchell Road approached the man and woman. The woman attempted to hit the manager but the man grabbed her by the neck. Officer Ron Collins arrived after the 1:30 p.m. call was made to dispatch and found the pair as they were leaving in their red Monte Carlo.

Kienan Corgile, 29, of Ceres, and Joseph Young, 39, of Vacaville, were cited and released for misdemeanor battery and defrauding an innkeeper.
