Couple racks up charges during Rockefeller Drive arrest

Enrique Valenzuela and Ladonna Riddle were both arrested when a Ceres Police officer checked them out in a car on Rockefeller Drive.

Two persons were arrested on drug and other charges during a Tuesday, Feb. 24 officer contact with them while patrolling the 1900 block of Rockefeller Drive.

At approximately 1:23 a.m., Ceres Police Officer Andy Oropeza approached two occupants of a Toyota Tundra regarding a municipal code violation. One of them provided a false name and through the investigation, he was identified as Enrique Valenzuela, 56, of Ceres.

A records check was conducted on Valenzuela and Ladonna Riddle, 35, of Modesto which revealed Valenzuela had a felony warrant for his arrest and Riddle had a misdemeanor warrant for her arrest.

Both were arrested on their warrants.

During Riddle’s arrest, a plastic bag containing a white crystalline substance, suspected of being methamphetamine, fell from her body. Officer Oropeza also located a glass pipe used for smoking methamphetamine in Riddle’s purse. 

During a search of Valenzuela, officers found a plastic baggy containing possible methamphetamine in one of his pockets.

Valenzuela and Riddle were both booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center. Valenzuela was booked for the warrant, possession of a controlled substance and false impersonation.

Riddle was booked for her misdemeanor warrant, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
