An early Sunday morning crash in west Ceres ended with a 21-year-old driver being arrested for drunken driving.

At 12:47 a.m. Officer Kiashira Ruiz had just left a loud party call in the area of Willow Lake Way and Marshfield Lane when she heard a crash. She located a vehicle that had struck a parked car. Driver Thomas Jackson, 21, of Modesto, was given a field sobriety test and found to be intoxicated. He consented to a blood draw and was arrested and booked on DUI charges.
