Driver lands in jail for DUI in Crows Landing Road
Ceres Cop Car

Gerardo Mora, 22, of Turlock, was arrested by Ceres Police on Saturday after finding him passed out in his car while his foot was on the brake in the middle of Crows Landing Road at Cornucopia Way.

Officer Jessica Graham was dispatched to the location at 2:58 a.m. and found Mora's Mazda parked in the middle of the road. Mora was incoherent at the wheel with his foot on the brake. Officer Graham put the vehicle in park and had Mora exit the car. There was a strong odor of alcohol in the car and Mora appeared to be disoriented, swaying back and forth and unable to answer questions. Mora was unable to perform a field sobriety test but a breath sample estimated a Blood Alcohol Content of .28 percent, over three times the legal limit.

Mora was booked for DUI at the nearby Public Safety Center.
