A suspicious-acting man on a bicycle was stopped and searched and found with a small amount of methamphetamine early Saturday.

Officer Kevin Sakasegawa saw Amarjit Singh, 37, of Ceres, trying to avoid him and hiding out in Smyrna Park during patrol at 12:58 a.m. Contact was made with Singh and he was arrested and booked for possession of methamphetamine.
