Gustavo Duran, 27, of San Jose, was booked on Feb. 20 for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license.

The arrest came at 9:12 p.m. after he was pulled over by Officer Eric Gallegos at the intersection of Hatch Road and Central Avenue. Duran was driving and found without a valid driver's license. As the vehicle was being towed the officer located a small baggie containing methamphetamine on the driver's side floor and a glass pipe in the center console.
