A 22-year-old Ceres driver was arrested Saturday evening after he got involved in a non-injury accident at the intersection of Central Avenue and Glasgow Drive.

The crash was reported at approximately 7:49 p.m. Officers determined that Otoniel Contreras had been drinking and was intoxicated.

After completing a series of field sobriety tests Contreras was found to be under the influence with a blood alcohol content of 0.14 percent. Otoniel was arrested and booked for driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage with a blood alcohol level above .08 percent.
