Dumpster diver arrested on warrant

A 24-year-old man was arrested early Thursday morning after a Ceres Police officer, looking into his dumpster diving activities, learned of his warrant for drug sales.

At 12:51 a.m., Ceres Police Officer Eric Souza was patrolling the parking lot of the Quick Quack Car Wash at 2850 Service Road when he spotted several men inside the business’ locked trash enclosure. Officer Souza Rojas was arrested and was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
