A 44-year-old Ceres parolee was arrested on a felony warrant related to his parole status after a Ceres Police officer found him rummaging through a business’s trash enclosure.

On Thursday evening, at 11:42 p.m., Officer Eric Souza was patrolling the parking lot of 3505 Central Avenue when he observed Esteban Godoy who promptly told him he was wanted.

Godoy was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
