Police arrested a man Wednesday evening after he left the scene of a family disturbance and was less than cooperative with police.

A call was made at 6:27 p.m. about a family disturbance at Blaker and Kinser roads. Officers located Daniel Campbell, 31, of Ceres, at a bus stop since he was identified as the cause of the problem. They approached Campbell who was smoking pot and refused a request to put it out. When asked his name Campbell answered the officers saying: "Michael Jordan Johnson Larry Bird." They attempted to detain him but he pulled away and began to fight, said Sgt. Jose Berber. Campbell was forced to the ground and handcuffed.

Campbell was found in possession of Vicodin without a prescription.

Once placed in the back of the patrol car Campbell allegedly became violent and began kicking the door and banging his head on the Plexiglas divider. At the county jail he started a fight with another inmate which prompted a deputy to take control.

Campbell was on probation and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
