While rolling in the area of Whitmore Avenue and Mitchell Road Saturday evening with his headlights off, Travis Chabino, 41, of Ceres was pulled over by police and arrested for what the officer discovered.

At 11:26 p.m., Officer Aaron Pinon spotted a white GMC pickup being driven by Chabino with no lights on and stopped him. Chabino was found to have outstanding felony warrants for his arrest. He also was found to have ammunition in his possession despite being prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition.

Chabino was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for the warrants and a new charge of being a felon prohibited from possessing ammunition.
