Patricia Dejesus, 32, of Ceres, faces felony shoplifting charges since she was seen attempting to steal $82 worth of merchandise at Walmart and she had prior convictions for similar crimes.

Store personnel escorted Dejesus to the security office at 8 p.m. on Oct. 29. They say she tried to take items that included cat food, kitty litter, coffee and men's thermals.

Dejesus also had a felony warrant for theft with priors.
