Frank Fontana, 57, of Ceres, a man with a history of drug arrests, was back in jail on Friday evening, May 15, after he was stopped in a car, driving on a suspended license, and found with drugs in the car.

At 9:12 p.m. Fontana was stopped in the area of Sixth Street and El Camino Avenue. He was cited for driving on a suspended license. In the process of performing an inventory check so the car could be towed, police found a methamphetamine pipe in the ash tray. Fontana was searched and found with a small bag where he kept a hypodermic needle and methamphetamine.
Fontana was booked.
