High-risk traffic stop made on woman driving stolen Toyota

A 30-year-old Riverbank woman was removed from a stolen car at gunpoint just outside of Ceres on Wednesday, Oct. 1.

At 10:14 p.m., Ceres Police Officer Charles Lord-Huff was in the 800 block of S. Ninth Street just outside of Ceres when he spotted a stolen Toyota Camry. As the driver pulled into a gas station, Officer Lord-Huff conducted a high-risk stop on the vehicle and driver Giselle Graves, 30, of Riverbank who immediately pulled over. When additional officers arrived on scene, the driver and one occupant were removed from the car and arrested. Graves was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of auto theft and possession of a stolen vehicle.
