Jacob Pacheco, 33, of Ceres, was arrested three days after he was involved in a rear-end hit and run crash.
The crash occurred at 7:40 a.m. on Thursday when Pacheco rear-ended another car but fled, followed by a bystander who called police. Pacheco's unoccupied car was later found by police in an apartment complex in the 1600 block of Richland Avenue but they had information as to the driver's ID. Two witnesses positively identified Pacheco by photo lineup, so a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Pacheco was arrested Sunday at 4:45 p.m. in the 2500 block of Don Pedro when he was spotted and admitted being involved in the crash. He was booked for felony hit and run.
