A homeless man who was found asleep on the roof of Planet Fitness Friday morning was removed by firefighters with a ladder truck.

Jason Phillip Pinedo, 49, of Ceres, was warned about trespassing and told he was not allowed back on the property.
It was determined that Save Mart had a ladder that is accessible to the roof that was not locked up. Huff Construction workers arrived and said they had been in charge of the construction during the renovation. They said they would have Save Mart lock up the access ladder.

The incident was reported by a worker at 11:05 a.m.
